With this weekend marking Tangerine Dream's live concerts taking place in London (Sat 1st Nov), Scotland (Sun 2nd Nov) and at the end of next week with their return to the USA after a long absense at the Royce Hall UCLA (Fri 7th Nov), resident TDFZ Show host Chris Newman has pre-produced a very special extended music edition of the show whilst he heads off to join the dreamers of the large pre-gig fan meet organised in London and goes in search of some more exclusive interviews and specials that'll feature on the show in the coming few weeks.

This edition of the TDFZ show consists of two music specials in one.

In the first part of todays program enjoy and experience overan hours interview and music special that Chris did with one of Germany's most cutting edge talents there is on the scene today, composer and multi-instumentalist Uwe Cremer, known as Level Pi. We get a real insight into this musicians
work and emense talent by way over an hours voyage of
discovery. This is musicianmanship and creative EM at it very finest and of the highest calibre there is...enjoy the Level Pi experience.

With the countdown now on for next weekends Tangerine
Dream concerts and pre-gig fan meetings taking place in London & Scotland get into the musical vibe with Chris Newman this week by way of some more of the newest
and inspired electronic music being produced by world
artists all in one way or another influenced by
Tangerine Dream.

Don't forget dreamers, although Chris will be in London
next Saturday 1st November for the TD fan and concert
events there will still be a TDFZ show, in fact its a special bumper edition of the show with a music & interview special with soloist Uwe Cremer aka Level PI followed by the regular Friends music special.

Welcome to today's very special TDFZ - My Outer Space music special with Chris Newman.

As part of today's special TDFZ -My Outer Space Special music show, TDFZ were fortunate enough to
have been given the very kind permission to include part of the classic UFO television theme tune.

This iconic music, amongst many many others ranging from Thunderbirds to Stingray and now an integral part of science fiction culture was composed by the late and great Barry Gray. Ralph Titterton, is the co producer of the Barry gray original soundtrack cd'sand restorer of the Barry Gray archives and it is with thanks that he has made our special show even more special today.Ralph is also involved in the forthcoming
concert celebrating 100 years of Barry Gray film & Televison music.

The concert itself is being performed at the South Bank Centre, Royal Festival Hall on the 8th November so this is a real must for all fans.

Hosted by Brian Blessed, the Philharmonia Orchestra will perform together with guest musicians, including composer-pianist Crispin Merrell (Space Precinct, Lavender Castle and New Captain Scarlet).

Net proceeds for this event are being donated to TheCinema & Television Benevolent Fund.
